Freindster or Friendster?

Friendster.com is the most popular social networking site in the internet as if this moment. Maybe here in the Philippines, 80% of the population is registered in Friendster. Me, myself is also a Friendster user. The main purpose of this site is to connect everyone and meet friends online. In the year 2004, Friendster became a phenomena wherein almost every interent user stay in this social networking site for over a day looking for old friends and future to be friends.

Friendster came from the word “friends”. Friend is a simple word to describe a person whom you are close and always to be with. But do you know that there are still some who don’t know how to spell this word or maybe they just accidentally misspelled it. They used to spell it as freind. That’s so funny but that is a truth. I also sometimes misspelled this word. Sometimes, friendster is also misspelled as freindster.

Base on Google, the keyword freindster has a traffic. That means that there are still a lot of users tried to search freindster instead of friendster. Google has also banned some domains that attempts to imitate Friendster and tried to benefit from it. Those are funny scenario but it is the real truth. Mistakes can’t be avoided.
