How To Make Blogger Blog DoFollow
Written by Hussein on June 7, 2008 – 6:58 pm -I got a message from a friend and he asked my how to make blogger or blogspot blogs a dofollow. At first, I don’t know what to answer so I tried to Google it to find the answer. Most of the time, when someone ask me a question, I always answer “ask Google”. But this time, I found the question very interesting so I decided to research about it and to blog about it.
Before anything else, make sure that you are using the new blogger and not the classic blogger. It’s because that the classic and the new one have some difference in codes. And also, please make sure that you have a backup of your template so if ever there happens something wrong you got a backup of everything.
- Go to your template page. Check the “Expand Widget Templates” checkbox. You need to check it because the codes we are about to edit is inside a widget.
- Try to find the word “nofollow” by using the CTRL + F.
- Remove all nofollow tags (rel=’nofollow’) you see that you want to be dofollow.
- Ooops.. Don’t forget to save.
Now, after you have made your blog a dofollow blog, you may want to submit it to dofollow diver search engine and to dofollow top site.
Make sure you confirm your subscription in your email inbox.

My main blog is also dofollow. Well, I don’t know how to make it.. I just just the dofollow plugin.. It’s easy. However, dofollow sometimes make disaster.. There are too much spammy comments.

cowy, good that your blog is dofollow. I only receive minimal amount of spammy comments.
and whenever there is, i immediately mark it as spam and not deleting it so he can never make anymore comment in my blog.

Thanks for the info, I want to implement same thing for my blogspot, this is what I search for my blogger. About the spam question, we can always use comment moderation on blogger or using bad comment plugins or akismet. It is not a hard deal. With dofollow stuff, we actually rewarding our reader or commenter a backlink and this will make them as a loyal reader because this is same with link exchange but this is done in web development ways because comment can give expectation that certain site is active and have loyal reader.

@Mike - That’s good. Don’t spam them hehe. Definitely, dofollow diver is the best and the number of indexed dofollow blogs are counting.
@Halim - Your welcome. Me, I don’t moderate comments. I just configured my comments settings. When someone comments with atleast one spam links in the comment it is immediately marked as spam comment. Akismet is also helpful but this is not available for blogspot blogs.
