Kapitan BoomJon Avila, ex PBB housmate, plays superhero Kapitan Boom in Mars Ravelo’s Komiks Presents: Kapitan Boom. The said new ABS-CBN show will premiere tomorrow, April 26, 2008 Saturday.

Other Highlights

Maja Salvador is partnered with Jay-R Siaboc, a product of the reality talent search Pinoy Dream Academy. The TV series also features veteran actors Bembol Roco and Gloria Sevilla, Brazilian model-turned-Star Magic talent Marianna del Rio, and Ang TV graduate Thou Reyes.

It is said that the tv series was adapted from DC comics’ Superman. Apparently, Jon’s look is very similar to the Brandon Routh, the last actor who played the man of steel.
