What Motivates You To Blog?
Sounds good. I just saw this topic from digitalpoint forums started by a Grunt. There are millions of bloggers and I know that we have different motivations to blog. Now, let me ask myself. What motivates me to blog?
Sharing information and opinion
This is what I like in blogging, you have the freedom to express your feelings. It is our right to express our opinion, anyway, anyhow, and anywhere. When I saw a great article from other blog or website, I used to blog about it and tell others what I think about it. It is so nice to share new and old information to other people.
Revenue from blogs
I know most bloggers want to earn money from their blog. We just want to make money to make our blog online. We need to pay hosting and domain bills and the best way to pay them is to generate revenue from our blogs. And of course the excess money is for our personal things like gadgets, electric bills, and others.
Seeing huge number of visitors
The first thing I do when I connect to the internet is to check my blog stats and check how many unique visitors I currently have. Before, I used to have only 1-50 unique visitors and now I got a thousands. As I get more visitors, I am more motivated to blog.
Being appreciated by people
It is heartwarming when you are appreciated by people in any way. When someone links to my blog, I used to open my mouth and smile like this 
My fellow bloggers motivates me to blog. I blog so people can appreciate me and to achieve my next point…
Online identity
Yes! I want to be popular in the internet some day.

My Main Reason? Hmm, of course my main reason to blog is actually for money. However, beside money, I also love to write… Love to learn and love to explore.. That’s why I still blogging until now. It’s one method of self actualization too..

My blog serves as a journal to document what I learn from the wonderful people in the blogoshpere . I guess that counts as another piece of motivation, doesn’t it? I haven’t blog for the sake of money yet.

Oops. I’m using firefox too and I can see it. It is just below the recent comment widget of my homepage. Maybe there’s something wrong with the compatibility of mac and the plugin.

I blog on my site as a source of traffic. I’ve read that regular original content on a site helps with its rankings.
My blog brings in a few visitors every day. I should aim to get more but it is so time consuming and hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Honestly? money! I can buy all the things I want because of my blogs. When i want something I can easily buy it without forcing my mom to give me money.
